More About Dr. Mark
Dr. Mark Meddleton, DVM is a 1991 graduate of Cornell University, and a 1992 graduate of a Medical and Surgical Internship at the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP), the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology (ISELP), and the American Veterinary Medical Association and has also extensively studied Equine Sports Medicine.
Dr. Meddleton practiced in a large performance horse practice in the Albany and Saratoga region of New York for 4 years before moving to New Mexico in 1996. He has developed an interest in and extensively studied soundness in the performance horse and use of Regenerative Therapies.
Dr. Meddleton enjoys all aspects of equine practice and has a special interest in Chiropractic, Performance and Lameness Problems, Equine Dentistry.
In addition to being manager/owner of the Meddleton Equine Clinic, Dr. Meddleton along with his wife, Becky Meddleton, raise and sell top quality Multigen Australian Labradoodles. For more Information, go to Desert Waves Labradoodles.

Susan, an accountant, is our bookkeeper. She is in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Susan has been working with Meddleton Equine since we started in 1996.

More About Becky
I manage office matters for Meddleton Equine Clinic.
I grew up riding and competing first in South Dakota and later on the East Coast before moving to New Mexico with my husband, Mark. I’ve ridden western (Quarter Horse and Arab breed shows), hunt seat (college Equestrian team) and dressage (here in NM).
My interests are varied. Mark and I have raised two outstanding boys originally from Liberia, West Africa. We have been involved in the developing Australian Labradoodle breed. We are excited to be a part of the ALAA which is innovating a new model of breed development and breeder responsibility.
Previously I explored working in a number of fields including wildlife rehabilitation & I interned at the Chicago Brookfield Zoo. I also studied & worked in interior design in NYC, and ran a riding stable in upstate NY where I met my husband.
Mark and I love what we do and respect each other’s meticulous work ethic. We are well-matched in our dedication to providing excellent client care.
