More About Dr. Mark
Dr. Mark Meddleton, DVM is a 1991 graduate of Cornell University, and a 1992 graduate of a Medical and Surgical Internship at the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP), the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology (ISELP), and the American Veterinary Medical Association and has also extensively studied Equine Sports Medicine.
Dr. Meddleton practiced in a large performance horse practice in the Albany and Saratoga region of New York for 4 years before moving to New Mexico in 1996. He has developed an interest in and extensively studied soundness in the performance horse and use of Regenerative Therapies.
Dr. Meddleton enjoys all aspects of equine practice and has a special interest in Chiropractic, Performance and Lameness Problems, Equine Dentistry,

More About Syvier
My name is Syvier Largo, and I am a 2018 graduate from Pima Medical Institute with a Veterinary Assistant certificate. I was born and raised on the Navajo Nation. Horses are a necessity to families across the reservation so having such a familiarity with horses gives me a significant advantage in my job.
I’ve always had a passion for horses. To me, there’s a special bond between a horse and me—through patience, touch, and energy. Often, I have been teased by those I’ve worked with, who’ve called me a “Horse Whisper.”
I’ve always enjoyed working with wild to bombproof horses and feel that being a staff member of Meddleton Equine Clinic is a great opportunity. I am grateful to be part of a team that strives to make our patients well. To get them back to doing their job—whether it be pleasure riding, rodeoing, or showing.
Susan Porter
Susan, an accountant, is our bookkeeper. She is in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Susan has been working with Meddleton Equine since we started in 1996.
